Position Summary
Seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in molecular biology with an emphasis in genetics and significant experience with animal models of disease and surgery, cell culture, and grant writing to join the Canon Stroke and Vascular Research Center team at UB.

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in molecular biology with an emphasis in genetics and significant experience with animal models of disease and surgery, cell culture, and grant writing to join the Canon Stroke and Vascular Research Center team at UB.
The successful applicant:
- Is expected to assist with ongoing research projects as well as
initiate independent research in the area of vascular disease.
Experience with lab management and student advisement is
required.
- Should be versed in the writing of grants and articles for peer-reviewed journals.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a related field.
- At least 5 years of research experience in molecular
biology.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience with in vivo models.
- Successful NIH track record.
