Job Summary/Basic Function
Responsibilities of the online adjunct professor for the School of Law online programs will include but not be limited to teaching material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule, providing detailed feedback, mentoring and challenging students to grow intellectually and spiritually, maintaining contact with students to advise on matters related to academic achievement and attendance while maintaining/reporting grades and attendance in accordance with university policies. Must have demonstrated, well-developed legal research & writing and time management skills. This position will be primarily focused on teaching courses associated with Liberty University’s Online BA in Paralegal Studies, Online Certificate Programs, and/or LUSOL’s Online Juris Masters’ programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials and 5+ years of teaching and/or law practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Superior academic credentials and 10+ years teaching and/or law practice experience.
Work Hours
Estimated 10 hours per week per course.
