Job Summary/Basic Function

The Director of Graduate Field Education is responsible for the development, guidance, and administration of the MSW field experience in accordance with Council on Social Work Education ( CSWE ) Educational Policies and Accreditation Standards in collaboration with the team. In this role, the Director of Graduate Field Education is responsible for teaching social work curriculum, facilitating field seminar, and supervising field faculty and staff as well as creating strong community partnerships. The Director of Graduate Field Education engages in community and professional activity. The Director of Graduate Field Education exhibits a commitment to both biblical and social work values.

Minimum Qualifications

- Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE -accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of post-master’s social work degree practice experience
- Basic competency with Office 365 (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

- Doctoral degree in social work or related field, or J.D.
- Social Work Clinical License
- Experience teaching within the framework of CSWE standards.
- Experience teaching social work from a biblical worldview.
- Experience with learning management systems (i.e., Canvas)
