Ca’ Foscari is looking for a researcher in the area of Economic Sociology and Sociology of Work and Organizations capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world.

Research in the field of economic sociology, sociology of work/employment, of professions, of the organization of social policies and interventions, of local development, of the organization, transformation and innovation of employment, welfare and social service policies. Development and coordination of research projects, including applications for competitive grants.

Teaching in BA- and MA-level courses (in Italian and English) in the field of economic sociology, sociology of work, of professions, of welfare, of the organization of social policies and social interventions, within the academic discipline of economic sociology and similar/close disciplines. Teaching activities include lecturing and the conduction of interactive working groups, labs and seminars.

This position is at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage, whose aim is to provide students with the knowledge to develop those interpretive, critical, analytical and communication skills that are necessary to understand and navigate the complexities of life in the 21st century.
