This position will serve as a IVMF Program Manager (PM) for the IVMF’s Entrepreneurship and Small Business Portfolio. This entrepreneurship portfolio at IVMF currently has 11 national training programs, to include VWISE, EBV and related programs. This PM is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the VWISE / EBV family of programs as well as other residency and online training programs. Responsibilities include but not limited to recruiting, marketing, and strategic growth of the program. Other responsibilities include but not limited to administration of the program, and relationship management with stakeholders, reporting, and ensuring the program meets or exceeds all deliverables associated with its funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Three (3) plus years’ communications/administrative experience.

• Demonstrated administrative and organizational experience in evaluating progress.

Job Specific Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse people.

• Experience working with or advocating for service members, veterans, and families.

• Experience in managing and delivering programs.

• Preference given to those with a military service connection, or who have worked with veteran, military, and/or family stakeholders, universities or think-tanks, and familiarity with related government programs and services for veterans and their families.

• Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office suite, Learning Management Systems, Salesforce, Google Drive, SharePoint, and Drop Box.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall management of entrepreneurship residency programs to include: V- WISE, IGNITE, EBV, EBV -A, including applications, pro card reconciliations, inventory, shipments, payments, invoice/requisition processing.

• Manage and execute residency programming in support of 1,000+ veterans and military spouses per year to include assistant with the Veteran EDGE program.

• Direct the development and maintenance of marketing and course materials and manage regular resupply schedule and process.

• Identify, recruit, and support speakers for all phases of the residency programs.

• Provide operational support to enrollment team, strategic partners, and networks.

• Work with relevant IVMF team to develop and conduct ongoing recruitment and marketing initiatives, including presentations, brochures, program websites, and other promotional materials to effectively promote the programs & strategically communicate with prospective participants and organizations.

• Work with the communications team to provide relevant program content for all IVMF social media platforms to reach target audience.

• Develop, generate, author, edit, and disseminate regular residency program correspondence and other communications to relevant stakeholders’ funders, partners, program participants, and graduates.

• Responsible for the overall management of entrepreneurship online programs to include: EBV -Spark and RISE, as well as other online engagement as needed – including applications, pro card reconciliations, inventory, shipments, payments, invoice/requisition processing.

• Manage and execute online programming in support of 200+ veterans & military spouses per year.

• Direct the development & maintenance of marketing and course materials, manage regular resupply schedule & process.

• Identify, recruit, and support instructors/subject matter experts for all online programs.

• Provides operational support to enrollment team, strategic partners, and networks.

• Work with relevant IVMF team to develop and conduct ongoing recruitment and marketing initiatives, including presentations, brochures, program websites, and other promotional materials to effectively promote the programs and& strategically communicate with prospective participants and organizations.

• Work with the communications team to provide relevant program content for all IVMF social media platforms to reach target audience.

• Develop, generate, author, edit, and disseminate regular online program correspondence and other communications to relevant stakeholders’ funders, partners, program participants, and graduates.

• Manage program budgets, performance, outcomes, reporting and proposals for entrepreneurship residency and online programs to include: EBV -Spark, RISE, V- WISE, IGNITE, EBV, EBV -A & assist with Veteran EDGE

• Develop necessary reports to adequately track progress of each program and report on program performance and outcomes in various reports as required.

• Track and report all results, trends, and statistics related to programs as required.

• Control and report on annual budget of $1.2MIL+ dollars for both online and residency programs.

• Author and/or support reports and publications on relevant topics.

• Engage with the alumni team to foster connections with alumni to monitor needs, progress and refer VOBs to the right resources for their business.

• Collaborate with funders, universities, government, NGOs, and corporate partners to identify, and disseminate training, tools and resources tailored to address the unique opportunities and challenges inherent in veteran entrepreneurship.
