Job Summary

JCCC's Seed to Table Specialist will maintain The Children's Garden, serving as a link to children's classroom, the center kitchen and families. The Seed to Table Specialist will also collaborate with classroom teachers and the kitchen supervisor to incorporate the seed-to-table experience into the curriculum and will plan and and implement a "school to home" connection.

Required Qualifications

30 college credit hours
Skilled in gardening
Experience with word processing and general computer use
Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Coursework in horticultural science, sustainable agriculture, hospitality management and/or early childhood education
Experience with young children in group settings
