Job Summary
Student Affairs at Auburn University is seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator, Student Programs (Student Conduct). Two positions are available. These full-time positions report to the Director of Student Conduct.
The Coordinator of Student Conduct is responsible for assisting with: 1) administration of the Code of Student Conduct 2) overseeing the investigation and adjudication of student organization cases 3) outreach and marketing efforts to promote student responsibility and good behavior, and 4) development of students as responsible citizens and members of the Auburn University community.
Essential Functions
Specific position responsibilities include:
*Receive and resolve reports of alleged violations of the Code of Student Conduct
*Oversee the investigation and adjudication of student organization cases
*Coordinate the planning, implementation and evaluation of Third Party Investigator training.
*Organize and supervise the Student Conduct football game day table operations
*Coordinate the marketing and outreach efforts for Student Conduct.
*Assist in the preparation of case information data to meet federal and/or state reporting requirements
*Assist in coordinating departmental strategic planning efforts and annual reporting requirements
*Assist in the planning, development, and coordination of assessments to evaluate effectiveness of policies, protocols and sanctioning efforts
*Aid in the planning, implementation and evaluation of Student Conduct Committee training procedures and processes
*Work with University and off-campus stakeholders to advance the goals of Student Conduct
*Manage the Dean Certification and student discipline record check processes
*Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
*Serve on committees and task forces as assigned
*Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications
The desired candidate will hold a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Student Affairs, Counseling, or related field of study and will have at least two years of full time experience in Student Conduct Administration at the college/university level. Also desired are an understanding of due process related to student conduct procedures; an understanding of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA ) and Clery Act as it relates to student conduct; experience and familiarity with student conduct management system software; application of sound judgment; an understanding of student learning and/or human development concepts and demonstrated ability in applying of those concepts when working with students in a conduct setting.
