Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Director of University Tutorial Services works under
the general direction of the Director of University Tutorial
Services to provide tutoring services and learning support programs
as part of the Appalachian State University Student Learning
Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not
limited to the following:
- Coordinate the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and scheduling
of tutors each semester.
- Assist in developing and delivering ongoing tutor training in
coordination with CRLA certified tutor training.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate paraprofessional staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Suggested Salary Range
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
