JOB TITLE: Senior Vice President, Lindenwood Global

THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique and rare opportunity to create and build a Global Division from the ground up. Reporting to the President, the Senior Vice President of Lindenwood Global is the enterprise leader for the University’s burgeoning online and continuing education programming. This inaugural position has full authority and responsibility for envisioning and building the online business vertical. The selected candidate will be given wide latitude to build a transformative online and Global learning experience; he or she must explore the art of the possible and operationalize it to create the e-learning reality of the future. The Senior Vice President establishes all strategies, goals and direction for the department, provides leadership for all departmental colleagues, and builds and trains a best-in-class team.

Lindenwood’s vision for transformation is to create a nationally recognized online division that provides an intuitive, well-branded, online educational experience that adapts to student’s individual learning styles to maximize their personal, academic, and professional outcomes. Strategically, the SVP will create an online infrastructure to revolutionize how Lindenwood serves students, scales operations, expands academic reach, and drives toward the future.

This initiative has the support of all elements of the university and will be robustly designed, built and resourced.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree highly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an executive leadership role
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in developing online and continuing education courses in higher education

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • All elements of Lindenwood Global from first contact to graduation
  • Builds the team, designs infrastructure and collaborates with academic schools and Enrollment Management to support exponential growth in the online and continuing education environment, both in net tuition revenue and enrollment
  • Directs and initiates efforts to expand Online Learning and PACE programs for emerging populations and concurrently grows organic structure of Lindenwood Global
  • Gains traction in the on-demand, micro-credential space by designing and marketing a customized micro-credential prototype with a corporate partner, as well as a prototype for direct-to-learner skills
  • Establishes long- and short-terms goals for the department and confirms that standards are met; reviews and evaluates delivery of services to identify areas of improvement and verify goals are met
  • Oversees recruitment efforts and graduation initiatives in online and continuing education; monitors and acts upon enrollment and retention data
  • Creates a work environment that is mission and vision aligned
  • Provides ongoing assessment, adapts to change and responds to higher education trends
  • Analyzes assessment data to inform the development of online and continuing education goals, strategies, timelines and metrics that support the mission and strategic initiatives of the University; collaborates with academic leaders to foster online learning objectives
  • Represents continuing and online education on various committees and working groups internal and external to the University
  • Develops and carries out initiatives to improve student learning both in and beyond the classroom
  • Oversees all Lindenwood Online and Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) functional areas, including instructional design; student experience and communications; and regional business outreach
COMPENSATION

Compensation will be competitive in base, generous in variable compensation, and commensurate with the experience level, credentials, and characteristics of the candidate. An outstanding benefits package will be included as part of a complete compensation package.
