Teaching Faculty Positions: Labor and Employment Relations

The School of Labor and Employment Relations at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for non-tenure track faculty appointments to begin August 15, 2021. The appointment would be at either the appropriate Teaching Professor rank or as a Professor of Practice.

These positions will be located at the University Park Campus of Penn State. In addition to teaching in residence, the successful candidate may be asked to occasionally teach in the School's online program. The successful candidate will also be expected to perform occasional service work on behalf of the School.

The School of Labor and Employment Relations is a growing multidisciplinary program offering undergraduate degrees in Labor and Human Resources and in Organizational Leadership, as well as graduate degrees in Human Resources and Employment Relations, in residence and through Penn State's World Campus. We value a diversity of perspectives and backgrounds relevant to understanding the dynamics involving employees and workers in organizational, societal, and global contexts and strive for a collaborative, respectful, and multi-disciplinary environment.

Candidates must submit a letter of application to be considered and a curriculum vita. All candidates should provide the names of three references able to comment on the candidate's teaching experience and ability directly to Cristie Rhine at cmh5307@psu.edu . In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
