The Department of Statistical & Data Sciences at Smith College invites applications for a one-year, benefits eligible position at the rank of Lecturer to begin July 1, 2021. Teaching responsibilities for this position will include introductory and intermediate statistics. Other courses may be taught depending upon the candidate’s field of specialization. Candidates should have a strong foundation in statistics and experience with statistical computing. Master’s degree in statistics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is expected by the time of appointment. Candidates from groups underrepresented in statistics are encouraged to apply.
