The School of Business at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke invites applications for a full-time lecturer in Information Technology Management to start in Fall 2021. Rank is Lecturer. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

The School of Business is accredited by the Association for Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Potential for, or evidence of, successful teaching is required. The successful candidate will deliver undergraduate classes in business.

Additional specific course assignment will be based on strengths of the faculty member as well as department need. The standard teaching load is 5 courses per semester; delivery will be on campus and online depending on department needs. Opportunities for Summer teaching are available. Opportunities for teaching other courses related to experience in the required areas exists as the School continues to grow and develop programs.

Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:  

Applicants with a Master of Business Administration concentration in Information Technology Management. Previous work experience specializing in Cyber Security is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to successfully structure and implement an online course.

Previous experience in teaching information technology courses on-line, in-class, and hybrid modes at regionally accredited higher education institutions is a must.  All degrees must be from accredited institutions.

Management Preferences:  Demonstrated successful experience with Online Education delivery is desirable. Experience in web development and security is a plus. Significant industry or military experience in cybersecurity is considered a plus.
