Position Summary:

Gettysburg College invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position in Spanish at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor ( ) beginning August 2021.


Candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching Spanish language at the undergraduate level. The Department seeks a candidate who has experience and interest in working with and supporting heritage speakers and underrepresented students. The teaching load is 3/3 and includes beginning and intermediate levels of Spanish language. Native or near-native fluency required. Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered.

In addition, applicants should submit the names and email addresses of three professional references of faculty familiar with their teaching responsabilities and perfomance.
