Under general supervision the biostatistics specialist will be responsible for statistic studies and data analysis for the users of the Research Infrastructure Core ( RIC ) in the Center for Biomedical and Minority Health Research ( CBMHR ). S/he will also responsible for part of the RIC data managing works such as data storage, expenditure management etc.
This is a Grant Funded position.
Essential Duties Summary
• Conducts statistic and data analysis studies for RIC users.
• Manages CBMHR data including data storage, backup etc.
• Helps RIC director to manage RIC expenditure analysis.
• Assists PI, PD, Core director, and users in progress reports and manuscripts.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range $41,976.00 - $52,470.00 Education
MS degree in biostatistics or related field or BS degree in biostatistics or related field statistical work experience.

Minimum of 2 year working experience in the biostatistics field with master’s degree in biostatistics.
Minimum of 5 year working experience in the biostatistics field with bachelor’s degree in biostatistics.
Working/Environmental Conditions
Routine office environment.
Sitting or standing in one location much of the time.
Some stooping, lifting or carrying objects light weight may be required.
Use of video display terminal.
