The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach throughout the physics curriculum, including laboratory courses, advanced courses, and non-majors courses, as well as courses of their own design at all levels; they will also be expected to develop a research program that can involve undergraduate students, for which start-up funds and internal resources are available. Members of the Physics Program work closely with faculty members throughout the Division and the College in research and curricular development, including opportunities to teach beyond the physics curriculum. The students and faculty of the Physics Program are dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse environment, and candidates who share a commitment to this goal are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Physics and preferably post-doctoral experience.
