Job Summary

CU Upward Bound (CUUB) is above all a college preparatory program, so the role of the instructor is central to the success of our Summer Academic Institute. CUUB serves low-income and first-generation high school students from Native American reservation communities in NM, AZ, UT, CO, and SD. We seek instructors who can help our students grasp course content effectively and find the confidence to see themselves thriving in a college context. CUUB Instructors must be authorities in the content of their course, but more importantly they must also enact a pedagogical philosophy that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of CUUB and be attuned to the specific needs, strengths, and cultural backgrounds of our students. CUUB is currently seeking College Prep Instructors for the following subjects: ACT Prep and College Prep.

The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to building a culturally diverse community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to contributing to an inclusive campus environment. We are an Equal Opportunity employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
