Job Description:

This individual will serve as the instructor to complete a contracted training program in partnership with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC). This instructor will provide the third installment of training on cyber security using the CISCO platform. The instructor will need to cover CCNA security. Starting with a review of security essentials, followed by topics which should include but not be limited to WAN security concepts, network vulnerability and security issues. The cohort of students are consumers of MRC and training will incorporate various elements of accessibility and universal design for learning. This contracted training will run as the third and last installment of a three part series. Start date is May 18th with an end date of June 29th. Class will be held Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-12:30 remotely with potential for hybrid transition.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

Faculty must be CCNA certified, or have the CISCO certificates of course completion for all of the following

(CCNAv7) Introduction to Networks,

(CCNAv7) Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials (SRWE), and

(CCNAv7) Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation (ENSA)

-Commitment to working with a diverse community of learners, professionals and partners

-Familiarity with working with students with diverse range of learning profiles and styles
