The Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS), a public residential school serving talented students from across the state, seeks a full-time Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator is a year-round (12 month) full time, professional staff member responsible for the ASMS Research Fellows program and all research initiatives at ASMS.  The Research Coordinator works closely with faculty, staff, and students to integrate research throughout the curriculum, design research projects, secure research and internship opportunities, and supervise all research programs and projects. The Research Coordinator will also teach courses in Research and other areas of expertise. Required: Master’s degree in educational research, research administration, content area taught at ASMS with related research or a related field required, 3 years of related experience. Preferred: Ph.D. in related field and 3 years of research related experience.  Experience working with faculty and students to fully integrate research into the learning environment.
