GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The Grounds Keeper will landscape and/or maintain grounds using hand or power tools or equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
•Perform landscape maintenance and clean and maintain laws, shrub beds, and related areas.
•Remove litter, debris, and fallen limbs, including removing lifter from roofs and replacing down gutters.
•Operate mowers up to 72-inch deck, trip arid rake lawns and haul debris to disposal site.
•Perform minor repairs, remove snow using small plow, hand shoveling, and salt spreader.
•Maintain and repair all grounds equipment.
•Remain on 24-hour call to respond to emergencies.
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFYING FACTORS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
•Knowledge of lawn maintenance and safety practices desired.
•Experience operating grounds maintenance tools, equipment, and machinery.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS :
•Education: High school diploma or GED
•Valid Ohio driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working in grounds preferred
