Job Summary/Basic Function
Applications for Philosophy Adjunct Instructors Faculty positions in the Department of Humanities are being accepted.
An adjunct instructor is a term-to-term appointment with responsibility to students, course material, and classroom and/or online instruction .
For information regarding the academic departments, please consult the Central State University website.
Minimum Qualifications
A Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate studies in Philosophy are required. The degree must be from a regionally accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
A Doctorate degree in the discipline from a regionally accredited institution is preferable.
Online experience is a plus.

Central State University ( CSU ) urgently needs adjuncts in Criminal Justice, Business Management, and Early Childhood Education for summer 2020 online degree programs. Qualified candidates must have at minimum a Master’s degree or 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline and documented online teaching experience.
Beginning fall 2020, we plan to offer our Intervention Specialist ( INS ) degree program online through the College of Education and will soon add an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies-Humanities.
We welcome adjuncts interested in becoming full-time, non-tenure track faculty in future. We offer competitive adjunct pay and full-time salaries as well as an excellent benefits package to full-time employees.
