The Job Location and Development (JLD) Program is a federally
funded program designed to help students find part time employment.
The goal of this program is to help students identify part-time
jobs that complement their academic and career goals. Job
opportunities are made available to all students, whether they are
eligible for need-based driven financial aid or not. The JLD
Coordinator serves four primary roles: 1) advising and counseling
students interested in securing an experiential opportunity while
attending North Carolina A&T State University (N.C. A&T);
2) developing relationships with employers interested in hiring
N.C. A&T students for part-time and FWS positions; 3)
generating reports as required by the JLD Program; and 4) serving
as a member of the Experiential Learning Team. The JLD Coordinator
reports to the Assistant Director for Experiential Learning. The
position is funded through N.C. A&T Federal Work Study Program.
