The Economic Science Institute (ESI) at Chapman University
invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow position
beginning in August 2021. We prefer a recent PhD who has a
substantial research interest in experimental economics,
macroeconomics and monetary theory.

method to economic education, the Economic Science Institute at
Chapman University is an academic center that uses the laboratory
method of inquiry to study the role human institutions play in
creating social rules and order, and also builds and tests market
and management systems. ESI’s research spans the fields of
accounting, economics, finance, information systems, engineering,

Qualifications
Qualifications include:
• A Ph.D. prior to starting the position.
• Ability to produce high-quality research.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities involve working alongside a faculty
member to conduct research. These responsibilities may
include:
• Producing high-quality research and presenting research
findings.
• Organizing, programming, and undertaking computational and/or
laboratory experiments.
• Participating in seminars.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
This position will have no teaching or administrative duties.
