Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services

Marywood University (Marywood.edu), a Catholic University located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, seeks nominations and applications for the position of Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Services (VPEM/SS) to take office on August 1, 2021.

 

Reporting to the President and as a member of the President’s Cabinet, this Vice President provides leadership in developing and executing an enrollment management plan that will enhance the mission, maximize brand awareness, and contribute to the ongoing success of the University. The successful candidate will join the President and her senior leadership team by accepting the charge to help develop initiatives for the recently launched strategic plan in the areas of enrollment, financial aid, athletics, and student services. Direct reports to this Vice President are the Directors of Undergraduate, Graduate, and International Admissions, the Director of Financial Aid, the Director of Athletics, and the Executive Director of Student Services. The successful candidate will demonstrate unquestionable integrity, be an outstanding communicator, a strategic thinker who possesses strong and effective interpersonal skills that engender trust and cultivate collaboration, and most importantly support the goals, values and mission of the University.

The selected candidate must have a master’s degree; 5+ years of responsible leadership experience in higher education; demonstrated leadership in the areas of enrollment management, recruitment, and retention of prospective students; knowledge and understanding of FERPA and other regulatory guidelines; experience with financial aid; knowledge of current software programs used to interface with prospective students and institutional data; and the ability to handle confidential materials and information in an ethical way.
