Norwich University's School of Justice Studies and Sociology invites applications for a full-time renewable Lecturer in Environmental Criminology beginning July 2021, to teach eight courses per academic year, to include environmental criminology courses. In addition, the successful candidate will have advising and service responsibilities


In addition to teaching courses in environmental criminology, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach core criminal justice and criminology courses. Lecturers have student advising responsibilities and may serve on school, college, and/or university committees as assigned by the Associate Director.



Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant or related field (e.g., criminal justice, criminology, or ecology) by the start date and documented success and experience teaching environmental criminology at the college level.

Preferred qualifications include a PhD in a relevant or related field (e.g., criminal justice, criminology, or ecology) by the start date.
