Summer Digital Media Intern, Tang

Position Summary

The person filling this position will assist the Online Content Coordinator with various aspects of the museum’s digital media, such as social media tasks, image or video editing, and website updates. Responsibilities include assisting with production, editing, and dissemination of various digital products on multiple platforms to tell the story of the museum and to engage with the museum’s growing audience. Attention to detail is integral to this position.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a desire to learn new things, be able to work both collaboratively and independently, have strong writing skills, and be detail-oriented. The person filling this position must have a passion for creating thoughtful and intentional digital content and a love of contemporary art. Applicants must be comfortable using Instagram Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat. Experience in video editing is ideal.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with branded social media accounts

Familiarity with Photoshop and Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro

An interest in web analytics and social analytics

Experience working with websites and content management systems

Position hours: up to 20 hours per week for 10 weeks
