Visiting Lecturer in Biology

The Department of Biological Sciences at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a full-time, two-year Visiting Lecturer in Biology to start in the fall of 2021. The successful candidate will teach introductory biology and its associated labs as well as advanced courses in their area of expertise. Teaching load will be two courses with two lab sections each and one seminar course without lab. This is an open field search, but candidates that can teach a course in vertebrate anatomy, human physiology, neurobiology, development, plant physiology, or ecology may be of particular interest. Qualifications include a Ph.D., a record of strong scholarship and teaching at the undergraduate level, and experience mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion.
