Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 503654), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with proven experience in molecular genetics, next generation sequencing and animal model. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua). They should be outstanding and self-motivated researchers with a track record in molecular and cancer biology. Experience in clinical studies and grant applications, particularly collaboration grants with mainland China, is an advantage.
The appointee will work independently and be involved in various projects related to breast cancer biology. He/She will assist in laboratory research activities and will have the opportunity to work with collaborating divisions/centres in HKU and HKU-Shenzhen Hospital. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
