Purpose of Position
This position is responsible with assisting in research activities in the lab, general lab management and equipment troubleshooting.
Primary Responsibilities
Duties include performing organic synthesis to make potential bioactive molecules
Assist research students with lab technique training, experiments and troubleshooting
Compile analyzed NMR spectroscopic data in the required format
Arrange and submit samples for HRMS testing etc
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry required
Must have the ability to create and follow protocols, keep a lab notebook etc
Must have basic organic chemistry skills and work with standard lab equipment.
