The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences is seeking Adjunct Faculty for its online Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program. Relocation to the campus is not required.

In terms of course load, there are two options:

Option 1. Adjunct status indicates a lower teaching workload at approximately 1 – 4 courses per term. This status may or may not be scheduled based on program needs.

Option 2. Part-Time indicates an ongoing working relationship through teaching courses each session of the term; approximately 4 – 7 courses per term. There is flexibility to teach more if requested and based on program need.

Please note, MACP has 3 terms each year and each term has 3 sessions (A, B, C) in 5 week increments.

 Faculty candidates should possess the following:

An earned doctoral degree in Counselling/Psychology (or a related field) from a recognized university.

At least five years experience working in the field of Counselling Psychology or a related profession.

At least two years experience teaching university courses at the graduate level.

Online teaching experience is preferred but not required.

 

A letter of application, indicating courses previously taught as well as a current CV/Resume, transcripts from terminal degree and a copy of registration or license should be forwarded by email to human resources. Please identify if you'd like to teach 1 – 4 courses per term, or approximately 4 – 7 courses per term in your application.
