Job Description:

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Longwood University invite applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position in Mathematics (#F0138) to begin August 2021. Professional responsibilities include teaching 15 credit hours per semester of undergraduate mathematics courses, including quantitative reasoning courses in Longwood's Core Curriculum and courses for mathematics majors.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Mathematics, ABD or Master's in Mathematics considered. 18 graduate hours in Mathematics required. Successful college teaching experience preferred. Experience teaching mathematics with technology preferred. A demonstrated ability and commitment to working with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff, and constituents in support of the university mission is preferred.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, instructional faculty position, one-year appointment. Salary will be $45,000. Commonwealth of Virginia benefits accompany this position.
