Position Summary:

This position provides direct senior level administrative support to Department Directors, faculty, and management staff of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM) within the Department of Medicine. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Cardiovascular Medicine Operations Manager. This position requires an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, careful attention to detail and the capability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The incumbent must possess the ability to maintain a professional manner at all times and provide excellent customer service.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

-One year of administrative support experience.
-Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

-Experience in planning and coordination of meetings, conferences, seminars or similar events.
-Entering and submitting expense reports, training/education in administrative professional support environment

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 7 years' experience is required for appointment at the senior level.
