Position Summary:

The Kenney laboratory at the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research is seeking a highly-motivated technician to join our team studying how the human Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) promotes cancer and other human diseases. The position will involve both laboratory management, as well as providing technical support to other members of the lab, including graduate students and Ph.D. scientists.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

BA/BS in Biological Sciences with degree or focus in Molecular Biology, Microbiology or Biochemistry preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 1 year prior experience (either in undergraduate research or professional work) in a molecular biology laboratory required. Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques, immunoblots, basic recombinant DNA techniques, restriction digest, and PCR techniques strongly preferred.
