Position Summary:

Teach for the Department of Psychology during the Fall 2021 semester. The position will teach one of the following or similar courses:

Psychology 202 - Introduction to Psychology
Psychology 225 - Research Methods
Psychology 456 - Social Psychology
Psychology 460 - Child Development
Psychology 601 - Current Topics in Psychology
Psycholology 612 - Neuropharmacology

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Masters Degree in Psychology or relevant area required. Demonstrated expertise in area of specialization required. Ph.D. or ABD in Psychology strongly preferred. Candidates should have a strong background in behavioral research.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

It is the policy of the Department of Psychology to give preference to the hiring of the department's dissertators and new Ph.D. graduates for all non-renewable lecturer positions. Preference is given to those who have recent university teaching experience.

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of course(s) listed on this PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
