Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Director, VCU Ryan White Programs, the Fiscal Administrator will support research administration, will provide supervision of administrative and fiscal staff, manage fiscal and travel operations of federal and state grants as well as the federal 340B program oversight and compliance. This role supports the principal investigator for HIV federal and state grant funding held under the Department of Pediatrics working with the Pediatric Research Administrator and Fiscal Administrators.

Minimum Hiring Standards

5+ years’ experience in research administration
5+ years’ experience in supervision
5+ years’ experience in a health related field
Proven program administration experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field (or other equivalent experience)
Ability to work in a diverse environment required.

Preferred Hiring Standards

Master’s Degree in related field (or other equivalent experience)
Experience and general knowledge of VCU systems to include: Banner Finance, Banner HR, ChromeRiver, RealTime, RAM - SPOT, RealSource, Microsoft Teams, Talent@VCU, ECRT
Experience with the HRSA Electronic Handbook ( EHB )
Knowledge of the federal 340B pharmacy program (and related compliance concerns)
