Position Summary:
The Skilled Trades Technician performs planned preventative maintenance of facilities mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and/or systems to prevent mechanical failure in accordance with established procedures.


Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required


Minimum Experience:
One year of work experience.

Required Knowledge
• Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, blueprints, schematics, diagrams and pictorial form, understand manuals & verbal instructions technical in nature.
• Work independently or with others.
• Demonstrate dexterity and skill in use of craft-associated hand &/or power tools & equipment.

Performs general preventative maintenance tasks
Documents work and maintains records
Maintains good communication with customers, members of the technical team and management
Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned
