Instructor

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Chemistry and Physics invites applications for the position, Instructor of Chemistry. As an Instructor, you will be expected to teach undergraduate-level courses, including having a significant role in the Dual Enrollment Program with local high schools, as well as, participate in service activities for the Department, University, and Community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Chemistry from an accredited university by hire date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
Experience teaching introductory chemistry lecture and laboratory courses to non-science majors.
Experience working with high school teachers and college administrators to administer Dual
Enrollment programs.
Demonstrate a record of excellence in teaching and service.
