Postdoctoral Fellowship: Patient-Centered Outcomes Research
Location: University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Baltimore, MD
Description: An exciting p ostdoctoral fellowship opportunity is available at the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) within the School of Pharmacy’s Pharmaceutical Health Services Research (PHSR) Department. Fellowships within PHSR provide multidisciplinary, advanced training to health services researchers and clinicians and prepare fellows for positions in academia, government, the pharmaceutical industry, and consulting. Training includes, but is not limited to, mentored research, grant-writing, and teaching experiences.
The PCOR fellow will work within the Patient-centered Values in Healthcare Evaluation (PAVE) Center to support community outreach, ongoing research, and programmatic operations of the Center. Fellows will work closely with academic and state stakeholder partners to address a range of research questions on medication safety and outcomes, health disparities, and value assessment. The fellow will report to the co-Directors of the PAVE Center. Duties will include, but are not limited to, developing protocols, overseeing research data collection, preparing reports and presentations, including webinars.

Qualifications :
Qualifications: Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills are a must.
Research training and data analysis experience are desired. A PhD or PharmD in a health-related discipline is desired, but clinicians with experience are also encouraged to apply.
