PT Financial Aid Specialist

Position: PT Financial Aid Specialist — Office Assistant to the Financial Aid Team. Help with the management of all Institutional, State, and Federal Financial Aid and Scholarship Programs. Responsible for front line customer service to students and assisting with file completion. Also responsible for processing of Financial Aid related documents and awarding State and Federal funding. This position is located in the North Platte South Campus Welcome Center. Candidates should have excellent customer service and communication skills, great attention to detail, and work well under time constraints.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree required. Prior experience in the field of Financial Aid is preferred. Candidates with experience in finance, banking, loan management or related fields will also be considered. On the job training in financial aid will be provided. Candidates must be in good standing with federal student loan payments to ensure access to federal websites.

Salary range: $13-$15 Per Hour depending on qualifications, 20-25 hours per week, generally between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM M-F.
