Position Summary:

This position analyzes workload and resources to schedule a wide variety of work for a Physical Plant shop(s). The type of work includes breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, renovation, major repair, and minor construction. The Physical Plant is responsible for all types of facility work and the shop(s) may be comprised of one or more trades or disciplines (i.e., carpentry, paint, mason, steamfitter, plumber, electrical, maintenance mechanic, machine, sheetmetal, lock, digital controls, etc.). The position develops the short and long-term resourcing plans and schedules, tracks shop execution, and prepares metrics and reports.

This position will be under the general direction of the Shop Supervisor, Department of Maintenance. The position will receive community management through the Maintenance Department Scheduler.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's Degree with major studies in facility management, construction, or related field preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Two years work experience schedule facilities maintenance work or equivalent including tools and materials, and task specific sequencing required for maintenance, repairs and preventative tasks.
