Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) (Ref.: 503642), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree (preferably in Education or related disciplines) with experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research including text coding, survey design, data interpretation and analyses, etc. They are expected to have a minimum of two impact factor publications. They should also have strong research, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; the ability to work independently and responsibly, both as a leader and as part of a team; and an excellent command of written English. Interest in higher education and educational pedagogy is a distinct advantage. A creative and excellent team leader who can contribute to a fun and highly interactive work environment is highly preferred.

The appointee will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of several projects relating to generic skills development, assessment and feedback, and direct evidence of student learning. He/She will assist in proofreading, report and journal writing, literature review, survey administration, and interviewing; and perform other duties as assigned.
