Job Purpose: Works closely with the Chief Education and Scientific Officer, and other education department support staff to plan and implement innovative live and online educational programs within the ASRM. The position will ensure compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) as well as other biomedical professional credentialing agencies.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for verifying needs assessments/learning objectives/competencies for all CME courses
  2. Responsible for the Conflict of Interest/Disclosure process, including review and resolution of any conflicts, for all speakers/presenters
  3. Responsible for ensuring all CME related activities comply with ACCME guidelines, (Presence/correction of CME violations (use of drug/product trade names; company logos; appearance of bias or inappropriate treatment recommendations) 
  4. Maintain participant and activity records of all continuing education activities in compliance with appropriate credentialing and accreditation agencies.
  5. Responsible for submission, oversight and reporting of all CME activities throughout the year including the Annual Meeting and Post Graduate Courses
  6. Responsible for submission of the ACCME annual report and reaccreditation process
  7. Responsible for administration and oversight of ASRM Committees: CME
  8. Participate, as needed, in the podcast and webinar scheduling/preparation process
  9. Participate, as needed, as a webinar co-moderator/host


  • Bachelor’s degree in an educational discipline
  • Experience or specialization in adult continuing education
  • Experience working with the accreditation and compliance process for continuing education credits
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and to function as an effective team member
  • Strong verbal, written and computer communication and presentation skills.
  • Successful working experience using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Acrobat, LMS software, databases, and the Internet
