Program Assistant for the PGA Golf Management Department
The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for Program Assistant for the PGA Golf Management department. This department is accredited by the PGA of America and serves students who desire to complete the PGA of America’s membership requirements prior to graduation. The Program Assistant will report to the Director of the PGA Golf Management Department as well as the WCOB Dean’s Office.
Duties include, but are not limited to: manage departmental operations by assisting the PGM director; controlling access to facilities; maintaining files; control of supplies; recordkeeping of travel budget; process Professional Golf Management (PGM) student applications; document and track student progress in the program; prepare PGM reports for the PGA of America; organize various PGM activities and events for the department and students; conduct new student orientation; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and relevant program experience is required. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required program experience. Experience working with students, knowledge of using University programs such as 25Live and Datatel and knowledge on basic registration of students is preferred.
