Under the general supervision of the campus leader or designee, the CEPA Coordinator works in support of the Concurrent Enrollment program. The primary role is to support the partnership between Salida School District and the CMC Salida campus, building relationships with school district personnel, coordinating all aspects of the CEPA program between the local school district and CMC, identifying concurrent enrollment opportunities for students, coordinate enrollment and testing, and academic advising of students.

Pre-Requisites for the Position (Qualifications Standards)

Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position. Examples may include a Bachelor’s and two years related experience, or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the functions of the position.

Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: knowledge of concurrent enrollment programs, placement procedures and requirements, local high school and college operations desired. Knowledge of current office practices, procedures and equipment; basic technology applications; ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties; experience with organizing and coordinating events; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; computer skills and proficiency with common software such as Microsoft Office.
