Career Coach

The Career Coach provides career coaching to meet students' and alumni career development needs. The Career Coach contributes to outreach efforts with faculty to integrate Career Education into the curriculum to impact all UNC Asheville students. The employee develops and teaches career development workshops and classroom modules to help students and alumni achieve their career goals. This position oversees the Career Peer educator program, developing undergraduate students to provide first-line career education for peers within the Career Center. The employee is expected to utilize career development theories and best practices to expand the scope of the program. The Career Coach develops and implements outreach and marketing plans for the Career Center to engage in career education to students underserved and not currently impacted by present initiatives.
