Clinical Manager/FAITHS Throughcare Program

Overview
Employment Status: Temporary, non-benefited "non-exempt" position through June 30, 2022 (position may be renewed annually based upon satisfactory job performance, availability of work and continued funding).
Salary: $100.00 per hour.
Work Schedule: To be arranged. Less than 20 hours a week, maximum 750 hours per year.
First Review Deadline: This position will remain open until filled. The initial review of applications will begin on April 7, 2021 .
Position Description: Under direction from the Executive Director of Operations, the Clinical Manager administers the overall clinical, ethical, and legal oversight related to the FAITHS Throughcare Program by managing the Clinical Service Supervisors and the oversight of the MFT/LPCC/MSW Interns, as well as other related duties as required.
Typical Activities
Job Summary: The Family Attachment Interventions Through Healing Solutions (FAITHS) Throughcare Program will recruit, train, and administrate Graduate-Level interns in salient Social and Behavioral Science fields to provide in-custody and out-of-custody psychotherapeutic interventions to justice-involved individuals and their families.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Determines the FAITHS Throughcare Program's standards for
compliance with regulatory agency standards and requirements.
- Manages the Clinical Service Supervisors and the MFT/LPCC/MSW
Interns in order to educate them on current practices and trends to
ensure quality and continuity of client care.
- Ensure programing and services facilitated by MSW interns
comply with core competencies mandated by the Council for Social
Work Education and National Association of Social Workers.
- Ensure practicum site operations meet the needs of each
university partner's individual program requirements regarding
their particular students and educational expectations.
- Facilitate clinical training to interns and staff associated
with the FAITHS Throughcare Program.
- Engage in community events salient to the FAITHS Throughcare
Program's programs and services in order to attend or facilitate
trainings, presentations, or workshops.
- Advise and consult the Executive Director of Operations in
efficacy and clinical impact of administrative duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: A Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in behavioral science, human services, social work, counseling, psychology, public health administration, business/public administration, hospital administration, or closely related field of study.
Experience: Licensed as an LMFT or LCSW for at least seven (7) years and completed a Certified Supervisor Program valid in the state of California and by the BBS.
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of regulatory agency standards.
- Knowledge of requirements and current practices and
trends.
- Experience engaging with and managing of graduate level
interns.
- Knowledge of substance abuse disorder and related issues.
- Knowledge of the scientific literature on mental health and
attachment, and interpersonal attachment-based psychotherapy.
- A strong background in child development, parenting, and
developmentally-appropriate, positive child guidance.
- Ability to work with a diverse population including
communication with people from diverse cultures, ethnic
backgrounds, socio-economic levels, and educational levels.
- Skilled in working independently and following through on
assignments with minimal direction.
- Working knowledge of state and county policies related to
incarceration.
- The ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Ability to handle multiple work priorities, organize work
projects and complete them in a timely manner.
- Strong oral and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a University setting.
