Job Summary

The Rinn Lab in the BioFrontiers Institute and the Department of Biochemistry are encouraging applications for a Research Associate to join our team. Our research program focuses on RNA biology and aims to bridge classic biochemical techniques with cutting-edge genome-scale technologies. We are a small group of 4 scientists and looking to expand to add a Research Associate position. This would entail collaborating with team members as a team member. As such thus this Research Associate position is aimed at finding a new member who would be willing to supply biochemical and or genomic expertise to advance these ongoing projects. This would not be a specific technique repeated over and over – rather we aim to have the Research Associate learn a variety of new techniques in collaboration with students and postdoctoral scholars. This would include authorship on any publications and respected input and ideas as projects advance. This position would also encourage participation in departmental seminars, conferences, and other scientific activities that facilitate creative thinking.
The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to building a culturally diverse community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to contributing to an inclusive campus environment. We are an Equal Opportunity employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
