Position Summary
The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University at Buffalo has an exciting and new position available for a Business Analyst. Duties include:
• Data and Business analysis – You will generate reports or ad-hoc queries based upon institutional data for purposes of enrollment projections, course enrollment history and section trends for review by department’s administration. You will also support faculty and staff by providing ad-hoc information when needed to make policy decisions. You will be the lead on special projects as assigned by the department chair.
• Business operations – You will assist in large equipment acquisitions, with logistics of department-wide events and manage the department’s startup commitments.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required. One (1) year of work experience required. Working experience with budgets, and personal transactions, advance experience in Microsoft Access and Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred. Preferred 12 months experience working in higher education. Ability to learn new technological systems in an efficient manner.
