Applications are invited for appointment as Research Officer in the Department of Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 503567), to commence as soon as possible for 18 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree. They should have an excellent record of research publications; a proven record of interdisciplinary research; and a demonstrated record of securing external funding. The appointee will work on translational cardio-metabolic medicine to develop therapeutic options for treating metabolic disease and lowering cardiovascular risk, and/or therapies to treat existing cardiovascular diseases.
