1. Positions & Qualification

- Department : School of Undergraduate Studies

- Recruitment Field

• Geography (quota : 1)

- Qualifications

‧ Ph.D in Geography required (Open to all fields in geography)

‧ Non-Korean nationals only

‧ Native or near-native English proficiency required

‧ Having College-level teaching experience preferred

- Main Duties and Responsibilities include

‧ 2 courses per semester (undergraduate courses, 3 credits per course)

‧ Developing geography courses

- Contract Period

‧ One year, starting on August 30, 2021 through August 29, 2022

‧ Renewable upon evaluation (up to 3 years)

 

• Psychology (quota : 1)

- Qualifications

‧ Ph.D in Psychology required (Open to all fields in psychology)

‧ Non-Korean nationals only

‧ Native or near-native English proficiency required

‧ Having College-level teaching experience preferred

- Main Duties and Responsibilities include

‧ 2 courses per semester (undergraduate courses, 3 credits per course)

‧ Developing psychology courses

- Contract Period

‧ One year, starting on August 30, 2021 through August 29, 2022

‧ Renewable upon evaluation (up to 3 years)

 

• Statistics (quota : 1)

- Qualifications

‧ Ph.D in Statistics required (Open to all fields in Statistics)

‧ Non-Korean nationals only

‧ Native or near-native English proficiency required

‧ Having College-level teaching (Introduction to Probability and Statistics with applications or similar one) experience preferred

- Main Duties and Responsibilities include

‧ 2 courses per semester (undergraduate courses, 3 credits per course)

‧ Developing Statistics and Probability courses

- Contract Period

‧ One year, starting on February 1, 2022 through January 31, 2023

‧ Renewable upon evaluation (up to 3 years)

 

• All Fields in Mathematics (quota : 1)

- Qualifications

‧ Ph.D in Mathematics required (Open to all fields in Mathematics)

‧ Non-Korean nationals only

‧ Native or near-native English proficiency required

‧ Having College-level teaching (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Engineering Mathematics) experience preferred

- Main Duties and Responsibilities include

‧ 2 courses per semester (undergraduate courses, 3 credits per course)

‧ Developing Mathematics courses

- Contract Period

‧ One year, starting on February 1, 2022 through January 31, 2023

‧ Renewable upon evaluation (up to 3 years)

Document Screening - Department Interview - Faculty Personnel Committee Review

 

5. Matters of Consideration

⦁ If there is no qualified person, no one can be invited

⦁ Results of each step will be individually notified via email

⦁ Appointment shall be canceled in case of

1) a false entry or modification is found in the application form,

2) impossibility to obtain a Ph.D. as of appointment,

3) being rejected in pre-employment medical checkups
