Lecturers

The Department now invites applications for the posts of Lecturer
in management areas including Entrepreneurship (ENT), Human
Resource Management (HRM), and International Business (IB).
Applicants should have (i) a higher degree, preferably a DBA or
PhD in any business or other related disciplines from a recognized
university; (ii) a strong track record in teaching; (iii) some good
connections with the academic and professional community in this
region; and (iv) an international outlook and outstanding
communication and networking skills.
The appointees are expected to (a) take up the teaching of the
undergraduate management courses; (b) be responsible for the
administrative work of the courses such as e-learning, liaison with
academic partners, leading study tour(s), student counselling; and
(c) support other work of course development. Candidates with
proven records in teaching ENT/HRM/IB, e-Learning and experiential
learning will be a plus.
Appointments will initially be made on contract basis for two
years, renewable subject to mutual agreement.

The Department of Management advances the vision of the CUHK
Business School, “To develop global business leaders for the Asian

research and knowledge, and its presence and touch with the
community and society. The Department comprises a team of academics
with diverse ethnicity and extensive international experience who
engage in a wide range of management research in entrepreneurship,
human resources management, international management,
organizational behavior, and strategic management. The
Department has a proven record of excellence in international
business and general management research. Besides, the
Department is a founding member of the Asia Academy of Management,
an academic organization that fosters management education and
research in the region. The Department currently hosts three
research centres, including Centre for Entrepreneurship, Centre for
